Spotlight: Menlo Park

This city of 32,000 is located in the northern sector of Silicon Valley and rests in between Atherton and Palo Alto.  Most of what you might desire can be found right here, without having to leave town.  Menlo Park is known for its vibrant downtown area, the center of which is Santa Cruz Ave.  It is also known for some of the loveliest homes in the United States.

In 2013, CNN ranked Menlo Park at #15 on its “Best places for the rich and single” list.  It was the list’s highest-ranking Silicon Valley city.

Notables who are current or former Menlo Park residents include Joan Baez, Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac, and Google cofounder Sergey Brin, who helped get Google up and running here in 1998.
