Of course, there are plenty of things to do in Los Altos, and residents do them with peace of mind, knowing they’re enjoying their activities in one of California’s safest cities.  And this goes for all the cities that make up beautiful Silicon Valley – remember, the SafeWise list only targeted the top 50 safest cities in California, which has more than 480 cities total.

Living in Los Altos

Los Altos is home to just 29,000 residents and is less “techy” than many of its Silicon Valley neighbors.  The most current statistics show the rate of violent crime here is one out of every 4,905 people.  Compare that with the average across California – one out of every 243 people – and you can see that living in Los Altos is a remarkably safe idea.

In addition to being an ultra-safe city, Los Altos provides residents with top-ranked schools, nearly 20 park and recreation areas, plenty of shopping and dining experiences and some of the most luxurious homes anywhere in the United States.

If you’ve been thinking for awhile about moving to Los Altos – or if you are now, after reading this – take a moment to review the fabulous Los Altos homes currently on the market.  The home of your dreams may be waiting right here for you.
